Tutorial: Typical and Advanced Publishing

The procedure for using the new Production Environment will depend on the type of publication of your projects: if you use the typical publication or the advanced one. In this tutorial, we will guide you step by step on how to upgrade your projects to the new Production Environment.

Typical Advanced

Typical Deployment

You will need to generate and deploy your project's applications and the new Production Environment. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the project, and in the top menu, “Project”, click on the option “Generate Source Code.”.
  2. Then check the “All” option and click “Generate”.
  3. At the generation's end, click the "Deploy" button.
  4. Follow the step by step to carry out the typical publication, and do not forget to check the options “Deploy with production environment” and “Deploy with common files (CSS, buttons, images, messages)”.
  5. In the last stage of the publication, it is necessary to define the format in which the publication will be made.

After deployment is complete, you will already be using the new Production Environment.

Advanced Deployment

It will be necessary to generate and deploy all the applications of your project, as well as update the Production Environment that is in use. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Follow this tutorial to perform the Production Environment upgrade.
  2. Open the project, and in the top menu, "Project", click on the option "Generate Source Code".
  3. Then check the "All" option and click "Generate".
  4. At the generation's end, click the "Deploy" button.
